I'm home on a Friday night . Still kinda down, going to work is tough. All the people starring at the uniform makes it even tougher. I can tell they want to say something, but the minute we make eye contact they all look away. Time will fix. I hope. I have been hiding from the public. Not good.

You're gonna be fine Rick-everyone grieves their OWN way.Don't worry about other people. They gotta figure out what they're doing as well.Just be good to yourself-NO self criticism,ya hear?I'd be worried if ya didn't go through this stuff.Just keep yer head in the game around that elevator-and when yer ridin-okay?Your Bud wouldn't want anything to happen to ya-neither do we here

I gotta say-this zx just friggin flies. Some vibe, but NOTHING to be worried about.Rock steady.I KNOW she'll do above 186-I just know it.Without the wind, and NO traffic,I think I could pull it off(to the limiter)on a cool morning some time(soon?)LOL.It's a serious straight-can see ALL the way to the ending(beginning)curve.Either direction.Wide open on the sides. Two lane with very smooth surface.I have to shut er down when I see any cars startin at the other end there-it's gonna take the whole thing to get er to top velocity. But I'll get there one of these days God Allowing.(I know, sounds hypocritical). My guardian Angel keeps saying-"Just a bit more, just a bit more-wooops,let off now-car coming! That was just practice".(I've probably lost my mind by now)-whattaya think?

I was always amazed on how steady this bike is at top speed. Feed back from the bike is great and gives the rider the confidence to trust her. My bike will not do 200(if this is what you are going for) in a 3 mile stretch in and out of the throttle. I have tried countless times. I'm just to heavy or the bike needs more power. More power has a nice ring to it.
(I've probably lost my mind by now)-whattaya think?I think the bike is telling you to stretch her legs ...now and again(FUN). Be careful, the high is very addictive. Also keep checking you tire temp. Don't do to many runs back to back.

I don't even know WHY I'm doin' this? It's just a blast to open er up once in awhile and jet down that road.If I could get my Bud to be at the other end with some sort of radio and let me know about traffic,I wouldn't wait so long to get with it.Gotta start the run right after the first sweeper-if there's any cars down there,it's a no go.And if any appear during,it's a shut down.

Blue - I don't get those photos.
The bottom one shows the neutral light on and the rev counter on zero? Did the needle get stuck? Is this a common problem on the '14?
